The terms, in plain words
You buy one step at a time, and nothing continues without your word. This page holds the detail behind the short version on the Baseline page and the home page. Before you pay anything, you see the full terms in writing.
You buy from TechShifts Media Limited, which trades as BusinessGPS
BusinessGPS is a trading name of TechShifts Media Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12622485. Registered office: 31 Spencer Close, Alsager, Stoke-On-Trent, England, ST7 2TA. Contact: help@techshifts.io.
The three steps and their fees
- The Baseline, £2,500, fixed. Our assessment of one change, made from the documents the change already has. You keep the Baseline report, which holds your grades and where to start.
- The Plan, £2,500, fixed. What to do to bring each red and amber step to green, and what that takes. You keep the Plan.
- System On, from £15,000. Set out in the next section.
The Plan is not free. The Baseline and the Plan together cost £5,000.
Every fee on this site is plus VAT or sales tax, as applicable. All fees are shown exclusive of VAT. VAT is added where it applies at the date of invoice.
Each Baseline assesses one change. The Baseline’s £2,500 covers your organisation’s own use, on any change of yours. We count no users and no machines.
To run the tool, you connect your own AI model service and pay its provider yourself. That cost is not ours to quote.
What System On is
System On is the name of the third step. System On is a paid step: we set up our system and AI agents for your team, for the change you agree with us. What we set up is installed on your side, and stays installed whether or not you go on paying us.
The price of System On starts at £15,000 and depends on four things. The four are how many people use the system, how long the system runs, the size of your change and the number of agents. You get your own price in a quote, in writing, before you commit.
What “payment” means on this site
Wherever this site says 30 days, the 30 days run from payment. If you pay by card, payment is the day your card is charged. If you pay by purchase order, payment is the date on our invoice, and we release the tool to you on that date. So your 30 days start with the tool in your hands.
We ask for payment for the Baseline and for the Plan at the start of each. For now, as a charter customer, one of our first customers, you speak to us once before the first payment. You pay only after you say yes.
How an earlier fee counts
With System On at its lowest price, £15,000, the three fees add up to £20,000.
The Baseline’s fee does not come off the Plan. Both fees come off the price of System On, if you take each step within 30 days of your last payment. At that lowest price, the three steps then cost £15,000 in all, not £20,000.
The 30 days are measured from one payment to the next. So the Plan follows within 30 days of the Baseline’s payment, and System On within 30 days of the Plan’s payment.
If more than 30 days pass before your next payment, the fees you paid earlier no longer come off. A fee you pay after that still comes off, by the same 30-day rule.
For example, you pay for the Plan 45 days after the Baseline. The Baseline’s £2,500 no longer comes off System On. The Plan’s £2,500 still does, if you pay for System On within 30 days of the Plan’s payment.
Buy the Baseline and the Plan at once, and the two share one 30 days. On a purchase order, that is one invoice with two line items. Buy the two apart, and each has its own 30 days.
A fee also comes off a package, if the package’s payment falls within 30 days of your last payment. A package is a separate, larger job with its own price and terms.
Cancelling is in writing, within 30 days of payment
If the Baseline or the Plan does not satisfy you, the fee for that step comes back in full.
To cancel, email us within 30 days of payment. Tell us which step you are cancelling and, in a sentence, why. Your reason helps us improve; it does not affect your refund.
The address is help@techshifts.io.
You keep the Baseline report or the Plan, and you keep what you installed, without updates.
The cancel covers the Baseline and the Plan only. System On and each package carry their own terms.
Maintenance is upgrades and fixes, and nothing else
Maintenance keeps the tool at your step current. Maintenance means upgrades and fixes, and nothing else. Set-up, training and advice are not maintenance. Scoped set-up help is part of System On. Any other help is a separate support package, which you take only if you want one.
Each payment starts 30 days, and those 30 days include maintenance. The aim is that you are running the tool on your own inside the 30 days.
After the 30 days, maintenance is yours to choose, and never starts by itself. If you want it, maintenance costs 20% a year of the fee for the step you are on:
- at the Baseline, £500 a year
- at the Plan, £500 a year, which is 20% of the Plan’s £2,500
- at System On, 20% a year of your System On price
You never pay maintenance on two steps at once. While you pay, the tool at your step stays current. At the Baseline, the tool runs Baselines. At the Plan, the tool runs Baselines and Plans.
Maintenance stops when you want. The tool then stops updating, and you keep what is installed. With no maintenance, the tool gets no fix, even if a change at your AI model service calls for one.
Your documents come to us only if you send them
On the install, your documents do not come to us, and we keep nothing. What the tool reads goes to the AI model service you connect, under your own agreement with its provider. You need share nothing with us, ever, and nothing comes to us unless you choose to share it.
If your policies do not let you install the tool, tell us before you pay, and we can make another arrangement. That arrangement carries its own terms.
