You are at Baseline. Every change we work on starts with this step.

The Baseline shows where your change stands, for £2,500, fixed

The Baseline is your assessment of one change, made from the documents the change already has. The Baseline grades each step red, amber or green. The Baseline report is what you keep: your grades in writing, and a proposed place to start.

With the report in your hand, you can decide which gap to close first and which manual work to give to AI agents.

An AI agent is software that does a named task, such as drafting a document or cross-checking a plan. A person decides what is accepted.

The Plan, if you go on to it, then says how to close each gap.

On what you pay us, the worst case is small. You have one free conversation, you pay £2,500, and the Baseline does not satisfy you. You cancel within 30 days of payment, the £2,500 comes back in full, and you keep the Baseline report.

The button opens a short application. Sending the application costs nothing.

You get your change graded step by step, in a report you keep

We map the life of a change in 27 steps. The Baseline grades where your change is now on the first 9. The Baseline report shows all 27, in order. The later 18 carry a name and nothing else, and the first 9 carry your score and grade.

The Baseline draws on Transformation Capability Management, a proposed standard, custodied by BusinessGPS. We wrote its first draft. The Baseline grades your change on the first 9 of our 27 steps. It is not a certification against that standard or its six domains.

Each step asks plain questions. Are the targets set? Is anyone tasked with carrying the change to the people who must use it?

The Baseline report shows where your change is strong, where it is weak, and what is missing or only partly in place. Every grade is traced to the document the evidence came from, so you can check any grade yourself. Your grades are the same whether you buy the next step from us or not.

A red grade marks a gap in the change, and is not a verdict on the people running the change. If you ask, Joe Cadden, who handles our delivery support, goes through your grades with the people you choose.

How to check a grade, and how far it can move

The grades are the AI agent’s. You run the Baseline on your own systems, and your documents do not come to us. So the person who checks each grade against the document it names is one of yours, before anything is acted on. If the Baseline does not satisfy you, you can still cancel within 30 days of payment.

The report gives no margin of error. Its sensitivity line shows how far the score would move if one piece of evidence were graded one step differently. That line is an illustration, from the model as it stands. So read each score as a band, not a point.

Our own report, on our own change, is the one you can read today. Repeatability has not been measured, and no independent person or body has checked the grades against outcomes.

We ran the Baseline on ourselves first, and three of our 9 steps came out red

Red steps 5, 8 and 9 are listed below in plain words, in that order.

Our own Baseline report is BusinessGPS, assessed by our own Baseline as at 29 September 2026, on steps 1 to 9 only.

Three steps came out red: carrying the change to the people who must use it, planning the approach, and readiness to launch. The report proposed where to start: with the first, because on its scoring the other two are held down until it is in place. A person decides whether to start there.

Every score in our report is generated from evidence graded by Athena, our assessment agent.

A Baseline fits one change with documents to read, at any stage

Your change needs only ordinary documents: a programme plan, a business case, decision records, risk registers or status reports. Nobody writes a new document for the Baseline.

The Baseline grades the first 9 steps whatever stage your change has reached, because the later work rests on them. If your change is already under way, the grades show which steps are strong, which still have a gap, and which gap to close first.

A Baseline is also of use before you commit more money, before you ask suppliers to act, or when a change needs a reset.

The Baseline does not choose your strategy. Every decision stays yours.

You speak to us once before you pay anything, and we contact nobody else

You would be one of our first customers. We call our first customers charter customers, and a charter customer works directly with Jeremy White and Joe Cadden.

For now, every charter customer has one conversation with us first. Jeremy White holds the first conversation with each new customer and checks the fit. The conversation is 30 minutes, by video call, and costs nothing.

You find out whether your change is one the Baseline can read. Either of us can say “not for us”, and saying so costs nothing. Nobody haggles, because the fee is fixed at £2,500 and printed on this page.

We contact nobody in your organisation, so word of the Baseline reaches your colleagues only from you. After you pay, an onboarding questionnaire asks what the Baseline needs, and you appoint a day-to-day liaison: yourself or someone else. We do nothing without your liaison.

You install the tool and run it yourself, and we keep nothing

If you can install a zip file or a DMG, you can get the Baseline working. So you need no support from us to start. We built the tool that way on purpose: what we sell is your independence.

The map of the Baseline tool, headed 9 of 27 selected, with Assessment map chosen. One row, Strategy, holds steps 1 to 9, all selected, from Business Context to Initiative Planning.
This is a real screen of the tool you install, before a run. The 9 steps selected are the 9 a Baseline grades.

Installing the tool asks nothing of your IT team, unless your own policies say otherwise. To run the tool, you connect your own AI model service, on your own account.

Before you pay, the conversation checks that your IT policy allows the install. It also checks that your AI policy lets you use your own AI model service. So you never pay for a tool your policies would stop you running. If they do not allow it, we can make another arrangement before anyone pays.

We recommend the install strongly, and the reasons are yours. Your documents do not come to us. You need share nothing with us, ever, and you work at your own pace. Plan to run it in your first 30 days, so you can judge it while the refund is open. We would like to record the hours your people give a Baseline, running it and checking the grades. We will ask you first, and publish only a combined figure across our first customers, naming no one.

Then you decide. The Plan starts from your Baseline, in the tool you already have.

You can stop. Or we may tell you plainly that your change is not one we can help with. Or you can go on to the Plan.

The Plan costs £2,500, fixed. The tool you already installed makes the Plan, from the grades in your Baseline report. You install one tool, once, and the step you buy decides what the tool does.

Two rows of the Baseline tool. The first is headed Getting to green, with Athena chosen and a button, Write the plan. The second, Take it away, offers Word, Markdown, Copy as Markdown and Save assessment.
A real screen of the same tool: one button writes the Plan, and you take it away as a Word file.

The Plan says how each red and amber step gets to green, and names the skills, resources and capabilities needed to close each gap. The Plan shows where agents can help. Where agents cannot, the Plan lists the capabilities to procure, promote from within or support. We put in a Plan only what can be done.

The Plan is yours to keep. Who carries the Plan out is your choice: us, another firm or your existing partners.

Larger jobs come after the Baseline and the Plan. They are on one page: the packages.

What you pay, and how you get out

Today you commit to one thing: the Baseline, for £2,500, fixed. Every fee on this page is plus VAT or sales tax, as applicable. You pay after the conversation and your yes, by card or by purchase order.

The first fee can be small because you run the Baseline yourself. The Baseline’s £2,500 covers your organisation’s own use, on any change of yours. We count no users and no machines.

If the Baseline does not satisfy you, the £2,500 comes back in full. You keep the Baseline report and what you installed, without updates.

To cancel, email us within 30 days of payment. Tell us which step you are cancelling and, in a sentence, why. Your reason helps us improve; it does not affect your refund.

The address is help@techshifts.io. BusinessGPS is a trading name of TechShifts Media Limited.

Nothing continues without your word. If you do go on, here is the whole bill.

  • The Baseline, £2,500, fixed.
  • The Plan, £2,500, fixed.
  • System On, from £15,000. We set up our system and agents around your team, to carry out the change you agree with us. The price depends on how many people use the system, how long it runs, the size of your change and the number of agents. You get your own figure in writing before you commit.

Take each step within 30 days of your last payment, and the £5,000 for the first two comes off the price of System On. The three steps together then cost what System On alone costs: from £15,000 in all. If more than 30 days pass before your next payment, the fees you paid earlier no longer come off.

To run the tool, you connect your own AI model service and pay its provider yourself. That cost is not ours to quote.

Each payment includes 30 days of maintenance, which means upgrades and fixes. After that, the Baseline’s maintenance is £500 a year if you want it, and never starts by itself.

The detailed terms, with the worked sum, are on one short page: read the terms.

What you can tell your board: small, refundable in full, and a report you keep

One sponsor can start a Baseline. Set the £2,500 beside what your change has already committed. Here is the sentence for the board paper.

“We are spending a fixed £2,500, plus VAT or sales tax as applicable, to have our change graded from the change’s own documents. It grades the first 9 of the supplier’s 27 steps. We will read each score as a band, and check any grade against the document it names. We run the Baseline on our own systems, so the supplier does not receive our documents. If the Baseline does not satisfy us, we cancel within 30 days of payment and the £2,500 comes back in full. We keep the report either way. BusinessGPS publishes its own Baseline report, red steps included.”
